Quita Bride

Quita Bride is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at HOPE Enterprise Corporation, where she leads internal and external communication strategy to advance its mission of expanding economic opportunity in underserved communities across the Deep South.

With more than 15 years of experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and public sector environments, Quita has built a career at the intersection of strategic communications, economic development, and community investment. She is known for translating complex priorities into narratives that inspire action and build trust.

Among her signature achievements, Quita led communications for Continental Corporation’s historic $1.4 billion startup investment in Mississippi, building the company’s communications department from the ground up and shaping how the organization engaged employees, partners, elected officials, and the public from day one.

Her work extends beyond the boardroom. Quita has led corporate social responsibility strategies that strengthened Mississippi communities through healthcare access, education, sustainability, and economic development. A natural connector, she has a rare ability to bridge corporate power and community need, bringing together people, organizations, and ideas across sectors to create lasting relationships and real results.

Prior to HOPE, she held leadership roles with Apex Clean Energy, National Public Radio (NPR), UnitedHealthcare, and the City of Jackson. A graduate of Jackson State University, she remains deeply rooted in the communities she serves. She is an active member of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM), the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), and the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, serves on the Clinton Arrow Theatre Board, and mentors emerging communicators through Black Girls in Media.
