Kim King

Kim brings with her over three decades of invaluable experience in the mortgage industry, where she has consistently demonstrated leadership and a deep commitment to promoting affordable home lending opportunities in the Deep South.

For the past fifteen years, Kim has excelled in various leadership roles within the mortgage sector, earning a reputation for providing exceptional service and fostering lasting relationships. Her extensive knowledge is further highlighted by her Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designations from the National Mortgage Bankers Association. Kim’s achievements are historic, as she is recognized as the first Black female Certified Mortgage Banker from Alabama.

In addition to her professional accolades, Kim also serves as a Director of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Alabama chapter and holds a degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kim is dedicated to giving back to her community. She is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity Greater Birmingham, where she serves on the Family Selection Committee.
