Build and Save Program

How The Program Works

The Build and Save Program is designed to help members grow their savings while completing valuable financial education. The Program period is from April 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026, all eligible participants who successfully complete three required GreenPath Financial education training modules will receive a $1-for-$1 match on deposits to their Build and Save account during the program period, with a maximum match contribution of $1000. The matched funds will be distributed into the member’s Build and Save savings account by September 1, 2026.

How To Join

If you are interested in the Build and Save Program, the following information is required:

• Submit the electronic Program Participant Enrollment form.
• Review and sign the Program Participant Application.
• Be an active HOPE Credit Union member.
• Make at least three monthly deposits during the program period.
• There is no minimum or maximum deposit requirement.
• No withdrawals are allowed from the Build and Save account between April 1 and July 31, 2026.
• Participants will be required to complete a post-savings survey
• HOPE will match participant deposits dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per member.
• Matched funds will be deposited into the participant’s Build and Save account by September 1, 2026.
• Participants may use the funds without restrictions once the program ends, program requirements have been met, and the match is deposited but are encouraged to continue saving.
• No additional match opportunities will be offered to participants after the program concludes.

As part of the enrollment process, participants will be asked to share their savings goals and provide information about their current ability to save. This data will help HOPE Credit Union continue to improve its services and better serve its membership.
