Build and Save Program

How The Program Works

The Build and Save Program is designed to help members grow their savings while completing valuable financial education. The Program period is from August 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, all eligible participants who successfully complete three required GreenPath Financial education training modules will receive a $1-for-$1 match on deposits to their Build and Save account during the program period, with a maximum match contribution of $500. The matched funds will be distributed into the member’s Build and Save savings account by March1, 2026.

How To Join

If you are interested in the Build and Save Program, the following information is required:

• Review, and sign Program Participant Application during enrollment period of August 1 through September 30
• Must be a Hope Credit Union member
• Must open a Build and Save account to make deposits that will be eligible for match up to $500
• Monthly deposits are required during program period (no minimum required amount)
• No withdrawals are allowed during Program period of August 1 through March 1
• Participants must successfully complete three required GreenPath Financial education training modules by January 31, 2026, to qualify for the savings match
• The $1-for-$1 match will be capped at $500 per member.
• Matched funds will be deposited into the member’s Build and Save savings account at the conclusion of the program and available to participant by March 1, 2026
• There are no restrictions on the use of the funds at the end of the program
• This program is a one-time HOPE initiative. After the program concludes, no additional match contributions will be made

As part of the enrollment process, participants will be asked to share their savings goals and provide information about their current ability to save. This data will help HOPE Credit Union continue to improve its services and better serve its membership.
