Valerie Benson brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial lending and strategic leadership to her role as SVP of Commercial Credit Administration at Hope Enterprise Corporation. Throughout her career, Valerie has led risk and credit strategies, scaled organizations, and built high-performing teams that deliver sustainable growth. She is recognized for fostering trust, collaboration, and customer-centric cultures while driving results with emotional intelligence and vision.

Valerie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Shorter College and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. She is also an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer, reflecting her commitment to community well-being.
