Certificates of Deposit, known in credit unions as Share Certificates, are time deposits in HOPE. In other words, you commit to deposit funds in HOPE for a specified period of time, and in return the interest or dividend you receive is higher than the current dividend on the regular share accounts and is also fixed.

HOPE offers CD's for various set periods:

• 6 months
• 1 year
• 2 years
• 3 years
• 5 years

$1,000 minimum investment.

Jumbo CD's require a $95,000 minimum investment. In addition, you can purchase a Community Development CD. By making a HOPE Community Development Deposit at a below-market rate, you enable Hope Community Credit Union to extend economic opportunities to more low-wealth families.

Any CD you purchase is insured up to $250,000 by NCUA.
