HOPE's Mission
for individuals

HOPE was created to serve as a financial institution for communities that otherwise may not get the service they need from larger financial institutions. National and local trends have resulted in many economically distressed communities without mainstream financial institutions and local residents forced to "bank" with non-standard financial institutions, for example, pawn shops, cash for title, payday lenders and check cashers.

HOPE is a response to that trend. HOPE's mission is to:

Strengthen communities, build assets and improve lives in economically distressed areas of the Mid South.

It accomplishes this mission by providing an array of financial products and services for its members in the communities it serves and by attracting depositor from outside these communities who desire to invest in economically distressed communities.
